I’ve been restoring some vintage jewelry boxes and this imitation silver leaf has been a lifesaver. It’s thin enough to get into all the intricate carved details but still has that nice metallic sheen. I did notice that it can tear pretty easily if you’re not careful, so I recommend having tweezers handy. Overall though, for the price point, this is excellent quality and looks very convincing once it’s applied and sealed.

I refinished an old side table with this and it looks fantastic! Used regular gilt sizing underneath and the leaf went on smoothly. The silver is bright and clean looking, not too dull or too garish. My only tip would be to work in a draft-free area because these sheets are so thin they’ll blow around if there’s any air movement. Also keep a soft brush handy to smooth out any wrinkles. Really happy with how my table turned out!

I used this on some wooden boxes I was refurbishing for my daughter’s wedding and they turned out absolutely gorgeous. The silver is very reflective and catches the light beautifully. A couple of the sheets were slightly crumpled in the package but most were fine. I applied them with basic craft glue and they adhered perfectly. For the price, you really can’t beat the look you get – way better than any spray paint I’ve tried.
