I bought this to embellish some handmade invitations for my daughter’s wedding and it added such an elegant touch without breaking the bank. Real silver leaf would have cost a fortune for the amount I needed. These sheets were easy to cut into smaller pieces and applied smoothly with gilding adhesive. They did tarnish slightly after a few weeks, but since the invitations were mailed out quickly it didn’t matter. The silver color is bright and convincing enough that none of the guests could tell it wasn’t real. Would definitely buy again for paper crafts.

My first gilding project was nerve-wracking but these sheets made it easier than I expected. They’re forgiving if you mess up and you can just add another layer. The silver tone is bright and clean looking. I gilded a small wooden jewelry box and used almost half the pack because I’m a perfectionist and kept redoing sections. There were enough sheets that I didn’t have to worry about running out. I did notice some oxidation starting after about a month, but a clear sealer coat fixed that issue. For anyone wanting to try decorative leafing without spending a ton, this is a great starter option.
