This is the first Dutch metal that I used that was adhered to the rouge paper just like patent leaf. It was a pleasure to use, it didn’t blow around like loose leaf.

I run a small furniture refinishing business and I’ve used several brands of imitation gold leaf over the years. This one is surprisingly good quality for the price point. The sheets are consistently thin and the color is uniform across the entire package. I’ve used it on table legs, mirror frames, and decorative accents on cabinets. My customers can’t tell the difference between this and more expensive brands. It adheres well and buffs to a nice shine. My only minor complaint is that some sheets stick together a bit, but with careful handling it’s not a big issue.

I used this leaf in injunction with another brand to create a contrasting aura or halo on my most recent icon. The results were stunning and this was the leaf that I used for the interior of the halo. Just absolutely beautiful leaf. Personally, I see no reason to cough up the money for 22 carat when this leaf is around. Thank you Barnabas Blattgold or such a beautiful product.
