I bought this for my son’s graduation cake and it really made it stand out. The silver is very shiny and reflective, almost mirror-like in certain lighting. I was worried it would taste metallic or weird but you honestly can’t taste it at all. It’s so thin that it just dissolves on your tongue. I stored the leftovers in a ziplock bag and they were still perfect when I used them two weeks later for cupcakes.

The sheets have a lot of static cling which made them stick to everything except what I wanted them to stick to lol. But once you figure out the technique it’s fine.

This was my first time working with edible silver and I’ll admit the first few attempts were a mess. The sheets are super delicate and tear easily if you’re not careful. Once I got the hang of it though, wow! I decorated chocolate covered strawberries for my daughter’s bridal shower and they looked like something from a fancy bakery. The silver stayed shiny for the whole event. Just take your time with it and maybe practice on something first before your big project.
