I was skeptical about using edible silver for the first time, but this product made me a believer. I run a small bakery and wanted to offer something different for the holidays. Applied this to sugar cookies and gingerbread houses and my customers absolutely loved them. The silver doesn’t have any weird taste which was my main concern. It’s also easier to handle than gold leaf in my opinion. Just make sure your surface is slightly tacky or use a tiny bit of water to help it adhere.

The product itself is great quality, but it would be helpful if there were clearer instructions included. I had to watch several YouTube videos to figure out the best application method. Some of the techniques I tried didn’t work at all – like trying to apply it dry to certain surfaces. Once I learned to use a tiny bit of water or piping gel as adhesive, everything went smoothly. For beginners, I’d say do your research first. The end result is absolutely stunning though, and I’ve gotten so many compliments on my decorated cookies.
