I bought this to add some silver detailing to an old dresser I was refinishing, and wow, what a difference! The leaf went on smoothly over the sizing I used, and it really does look like real silver. My only complaint is that some sheets had a few small tears in them when I opened the package, but there was plenty extra so it didn’t matter. I’ve gotten so many compliments on the dresser. Definitely recommend watching a YouTube tutorial first if you’ve never worked with leaf before.

I build scale models and needed something for chrome-like details on a vintage car model I was working on. This imitation silver leaf was perfect for small accent pieces like bumpers and trim. Silver paint just doesn’t give you that continuous reflective surface that actual metal does, even if it’s not real silver. The sheets are thin enough to conform to curved surfaces which is great. My only complaint is that you need to seal it well or it can rub off, but that’s pretty standard with any leafing product.

I restore antique furniture as a hobby and this imitation silver leaf is perfect for touching up pieces without breaking the bank on real silver. It applies smoothly with the right adhesive, and once you seal it with a clear coat, it holds up really well. The color is a nice bright silver that doesn’t look cheap or dull. I’ve used it on several pieces now and haven’t had any issues with tarnishing or peeling. Highly recommend for anyone doing furniture restoration or decorative work.
