12k Genuine Gold leaf. The gold leaf is beaten mechanically by machines through thousands of repetitions, mauling it to a thin layer of gold.
Other uses of genuine gold leaf
Gold leaf is applied in interior design (decorating walls), exterior renovation such as domes in churches, figurines, furniture restorations, signage, signboards, photo frames, scrapbooking, and other craftwork.
Genuine, not imitation gold leaf
NOTE!! 12k Gold has 12k of Genuine Gold in the metal leaf. There are other metal leaves out on the market that are called "Goldleaf" because of their appearance, but they are in fact a copper zinc alloy, and have ZERO gold in them. The industrial term for these leaves is called imitation gold leaf, or composition leaf. These leaves are used for mass production of furniture and frames. However, they will oxidize and change color over time. You can test if they are composition leaf if you spray water or put vinegar on their raw surface (i.e. prior to putting on varnish or coatings).
Larger gold leaf sheets than typical
Please also note that our leaves are industrial class gold sheets. The sizes are almost 4 times as large as other gold leaf sheets you see on the internet (usually their size is 1 3/4" x 1 3/4" but it is claimed to be approximately 2" x 2").

Takes some practice to get the hang of it but once you figure it out, the results are beautiful. I watched a few YouTube tutorials before starting and that helped a lot. Used it on a wooden sign for my business and got tons of compliments. Would definitely buy again once I run out.

I was skeptical about the price point but this is actually really good quality gold leaf. I’ve used it on three different furniture pieces now and the coverage is excellent. The sheets are thin enough to work with but don’t tear too easily. Only issue is you need to be careful with static – it can stick to everything. Overall very happy with this purchase and will definitely buy again.

I’ve been using this for various craft projects and it’s been perfect every time. The sheets separate easily and the coverage is excellent. I did have a couple sheets that were slightly torn but honestly that’s expected with something this delicate. The price point is really good compared to what I was paying at the craft store.
