Hi, I’m Joan, the baker behind Bow Bells Bakes, based in East London. My love for baking started at a very young age, growing up in a family where both my mum and my grandmother were incredible bakers. I spent hours watching them in the kitchen, picking up tips and tricks along the way and also given jobs to help out. That passion has stayed with me ever since. Now, I specialise in vintage-style cakes, sugar cookies, and cupcakes—often decorated with bows, cherries, edible gold leaf and lots of love.
