“I grew up on the Chesapeake Bay in the Northern Neck of Virginia and have been based near Pittsburgh for 23 years now. Lifelong maker & creative, primarily with wood. I make small projects that make me happy, mostly nature themed. I use tiny lathe-turned trees to create my signature treescapes, power carve wooden birds, and copper hammer fold-form leaves to name a few.
I learned wood turning on the lathe from my father when I was a teenager, and pick up other skills I find interesting from fellow makers and YouTube creators adding to my artistic arsenal. “
